Simon Bartram

Simon qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 after a three-year training contract in an audit firm based in London, specialising in the financial audits of not-for-profit entities such as Academies, Colleges, and Social Enterprises. He was born in West Newcastle and in November 2016 returned to his roots to join Ernst & Young, a Big 4 accountancy firm, leading audits within the Government and Public Sector. His father worked as a Head Teacher within West Newcastle before retirement, and his sister worked as a science teacher within Gateshead. Simon has a keen interest in playing a positive role in his local community and is passionate about being involved in making a difference to the lives of others in the North East during their most crucial development stage.
